Southern Befrienders SCHEME MANAGER Manx Registered Charity 939 Are you interested in using your skills and experience in helping us to deliver our vision of “Eradicating loneliness - one friend at a time.”? We aim to reduce the loneliness experienced by older people and raise awareness of the impact which this can have on their quality of life.

Your principal responsibilities will be managing the day-to-day affairs of the charity, supervising and supporting colleagues and volunteers, liaising with the Board, raising the profile of the charity and working with the Board to secure the charity's long-term future. You should understand the needs of older people, have excellent written, spoken and digital communication skills and be able to work without close supervision.

This is a part-time role of twenty hours per week. You will usually be able to select the days and times which you work.
