Provides person-centred care to residents, supporting daily living, wellbeing, mobility, nutrition and hydration, and monitoring health changes.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be part of a committed care team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will support individuals with their daily living needs, promote independence, dignity and choice, and help ensure their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Working in line with individual care plans, you will monitor and report any changes in health, contribute to care reviews, and maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, infection prevention and control.
The role includes assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration, and, where appropriate, supporting medication administration in accordance with training and organisational policies. You will also undertake light domestic duties, work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
