Our client is seeking a full-time Onboarding - New Business & Risk Officer to join their team in either Guernsey or the Isle of Man. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the effective onboarding of new clients and accounts, ensuring that all necessary documentation, risk assessments, and compliance checks are completed accurately in line with regulatory and internal standards. The position also involves ongoing client maintenance, including the analysis of discrepancies and updating relevant information in a timely fashion. You will work collaboratively with Relationship Managers to conduct enhanced Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for higher-risk relationships, and will play an essential role in supporting compliance with FATCA and CRS requirements. This role is perfect for an individual with experience in regulatory risk within a financial institution, who thrives in an environment where independent working and effective escalation are vital.
