Pharmacy Dispenser

Karsons Pharmacy is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly community pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years' experience working in a community pharmacy who is passionate about delivering safe, accurate and efficient patient care. The role offers a varied workload, supporting the dispensary, assisting patients and customers, and occasionally undertaking pharmacy-related deliveries and collections.

Main Duties

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist
• provide excellent customer service
• assist with prescription queries
• maintain stock levels and inventory
• receive and process deliveries
• support the day-to-day operation of the dispensary
• carry out pharmacy deliveries or collections when required.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a community pharmacy dispensary
• a recognised dispensing qualification (or equivalent)
• experience using pharmacy dispensing systems
• knowledge of NHS community pharmacy services
• excellent attention to detail
• strong customer service and communication skills
• possess basic to intermediate computer literacy
• the ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
• a full, valid driving licence with the ability to drive as part of the role.
