Supports Relationship Directors with customer research, financial analysis, client planning and risk monitoring in HSBC’s Corporate & Institutional Banking team.

Why HSBC

HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Guided by our purpose of opening up a world of opportunity, our ambition is to become the world’s most trusted bank globally, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.

As an HSBC employee in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM) you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all employees, enhanced parental and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a non-contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

The Opportunity

HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM) is seeking a Relationship Support Analyst to support Relationship Directors within our Corporate & Institutional Banking team in the Isle of Man. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and helping the team identify and deliver product and service opportunities. You’ll carry out customer research and financial analysis and help shape high-quality materials for customer meetings. You’ll also coordinate day-to-day activity across client planning and pipeline management while keeping key data and call reports accurate and up to date. Alongside commercial support, the role plays an important part in ongoing risk monitoring across Global Standards and Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions alerts. Success means better client engagement, strong operational execution and consistent adherence to regulatory, financial and legal standards.

The role requires experience in financial services, ideally within a commercial bank or financial institution, alongside strong analytical and financial skills to support sound decision-making. You’ll need to understand customer needs, deliver excellent service, and produce clear proposals, presentations and written communications tailored to different audiences. The position also involves managing competing priorities and deadlines, collaborating effectively with colleagues, and demonstrating an interest in developing towards managing a small portfolio of customers.
