About this role
Relief shop worker sorting and organising charity donations, supporting volunteers and providing customer service in Crossroads charity shops.
Building on the success of our Charity shops Crossroads are looking for another friendly, organised person to work in our Charity Shops. This is a relief/bank post to enable us to manage the generous donations we receive, and will usually be required on a Friday or Saturday for a full day (6 hours).
Applicants must be able to lift and carry bags/boxes safely, work in a fast paced busy environment, guide volunteers and deliver a pleasant customer service to our generous donators and customers. For this role, the focus will be on sorting/organising donations which is a physical demanding role and requires a consistent and organised approach with some basic knowledge of desirable/popular trends and brands.
