About this role

Provides person-centred care and support in individuals’ homes, including personal care, medication, meals, mobility and daily activities.

The Community Support Worker will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, mobility, companionship, shopping, appointments, light household duties and other activities identified within each person’s care plan.

Applicants should be caring, reliable, respectful and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with good communication and observational skills and a willingness to follow care plans, policies and safe working practices. Previous experience in health or social care is desirable but not essential, as appropriate training and support will be provided.

Applicants should be flexible and willing to work a range of shifts, which may include mornings, evenings and weekends. Applicants must hold a clean driving licence and have access to their own car for work purposes.
