Director of Advisory

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Director of Advisory to lead and grow their advisory practice on the Isle of Man. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced advisory professional to take ownership of building a team from the ground up, shape the strategic direction of the practice locally, and play a pivotal role in establishing the firm's advisory presence in the jurisdiction.

The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Advisory Partners based off-Island, acting as the senior on-the-ground leader for the advisory function. They will be expected to bring credibility, technical excellence, and commercial acumen to the role, and to act as a visible representative of the firm in the Isle of Man market.

Candidate Profile - Essential:

A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). A formal insolvency qualification (JIEB, CPI, or equivalent) is required, with current or recent licensing to take insolvency appointments. Significant post-qualification experience gained within an advisory or restructuring practice, ideally at Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director level.
