Finance Business Manager

Our client is seeking a Finance Business Manager (Finance & Governance) to support the Finance Manager and wider leadership team in delivering financial reporting, financial operations, governance requirements and business performance activities. The role is primarily finance-focused, with additional responsibility for governance support, board reporting and contributing to business initiatives that support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical finance capability combined with the ability to work across governance, reporting and operational priorities in a structured and proactive way.

About You - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred, with strong part-qualified candidates also considered depending on experience. Strong background in management accounting, financial reporting or financial operations. Experience working within month-end close processes and financial controls.

Exposure to external audit processes and financial statement preparation. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Confident working with a range of stakeholders across finance and non-finance functions.
