About this role
Supports a restaurant and events kitchen by washing equipment, cleaning, managing waste and helping chefs during service.
We’re recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our restaurant and events kitchen. The role involves a mix of daytime, evening and weekend shifts, supporting the team throughout busy services. You’ll be responsible for washing dishes, utensils and equipment, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and maintaining hygiene standards at all times.
The position also includes general cleaning, waste management and helping chefs during service. For the right candidate, we can offer additional training in basic prep work. We’re looking for someone reliable, hard working and comfortable in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail matters, as does taking pride in a clean workspace.
No previous experience is required — full training will be provided. You’ll be joining a supportive, professional team with opportunities to learn and develop, staff meals on shift, and a positive working environment in a busy, well regarded venue. If this sounds like a good fit, we’d welcome your application.
