Operates and maintains wastewater pumping stations, treatment works and related infrastructure across the Island, including emergency response and standby duties.
This role involves working as part of an operational team responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of wastewater assets across the Island. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater pumping stations, treatment works and associated infrastructure, helping to deliver a reliable wastewater service.
The position also requires participation in a 24-hour emergency response and standby rota, providing operational support when needed. While the role will be primarily based at Meary Veg Wastewater Treatment Works, flexibility is essential, as duties may be carried out at any Manx Utilities location.
