About this role
Coordinates service user and family liaison, care quality assurance, compliance, reporting and communication with care staff and healthcare professionals.
Service User and Family Liaison - Conduct initial assessments and reviews of service user needs in collaboration with the care manager. Communicate with service users and their families to discuss care plans, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to care services. Provide information and advice to service users and families regarding available services and ensure they are fully informed about their care options.
Quality Assurance and Compliance - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care services, service user care plans, and staff schedules in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and execution of care quality audits and inspections by regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and data protection laws.
Monitor the quality of care being provided, conducting spot checks and audits, and taking corrective action where necessary. Communication and Reporting - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, care staff, and external stakeholders regarding care services. Prepare and submit regular reports on care delivery, staffing, and client satisfaction to the Registered Manager.
Ensure effective communication between the care team, management, and other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care. 1 - 2 years experience in a previous role or healthcare setting. The successful candidate must be compassionate and empathetic, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
Have the ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently. Be reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
