Our client seeks an Onboarding - New Business & Risk Office to join their team. This is a position where your knowledge of regulatory risk, CDD and client onboarding will be used to protect and enhance real client relationships - and where you will have the autonomy to identify improvements and make a genuine impact.
Key Skills and Experience
- Solid knowledge of account opening, KYC/CDD processes and risk review procedures.
- In-depth understanding of corporate client structures and their implications for customer due diligence and regulatory compliance.
- Detailed working knowledge of FATCA and CRS requirements.
- Experience conducting enhanced due diligence for higher-risk clients, including PEPs and complex structures.
- Some exposure to the management of regulatory risk within a large or regulated financial institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to operate independently, escalate appropriately and maintain the appropriate priority for regulatory matters.
- Excellent personal organisation, planning and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A challenging yet constructive and non-confrontational approach.
- Proficiency in AI-enabled productivity tools (such as CoPilot), with the ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgement when interpreting outputs, while maintaining full accountability for the quality and accuracy of work produced.
