Qualified/Trainee Dental Nurse

A wonderful opportunity has become available for a Qualified or experienced Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Grove Mount Dental Practice, Grove Mount South, IM8 3EY. We are a well established practice located in Ramsey, Isle of Man, close to the marina. The island offers a relaxed way of life with a very friendly community, we call our practice a “family dental health centre” as we want patients of all ages to enjoy lasting dental health.

Full Time or Part Time (Flexible working hours available). Practice opening hours:

Monday – Thursday 8.30-5.30. Friday 8.30-4.30. Key responsibilities & duties:

Providing the highest standard of clinical support to our dentists and hygiene therapists. Perform top quality dental nursing in all procedures in a safe and effective manner. Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy. Checking stock + preparing orders. Carrying out audits.

Preparing referrals. Deliver outstanding customer service experiences. Ad hoc reception duties. Academic or trade qualifications:

GDC registered. Trainees with minimum 6 months will be considered. Excellent organisation, verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Pearl + Excel desirable but not essential. Work experience and skills:

Having an ambitious, positive and enthusiastic attitude with a great patient focus. Variety of roles available for nursing staff and extended duties are actively encouraged, lots of patient interaction and opportunity to work in a busy active team. Ability to work as part of a team. Proactive approach.

Computer savvy and able to multitask. Maintaining patient confidentiality. What we offer in practice:

We provide services which include General and Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign, Whitening, Dentures and Hygiene therapists with 5 surgeries in total. GDC, Indemnity and CPD costs covered. Support of Practice Manager and Area Manager.
