Conduct AML/CFT quality assurance reviews, maintain the QA framework, and monitor remedial actions.
Our client seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the periodic and ad-hoc system, process or data related reviews e.g. rule tuning, systems verification, transaction monitoring, bank data testing, quality assurance reviews.
- Define and maintain the AML / CFT Quality Assurance framework in the context of relevant money laundering and terrorist financing trends.
- Conduct QA reviews in accordance with the QA framework.
- Manage and monitor the implementation of improvements and remedial actions emanating from the QA findings, until close out.
- Execute client facing activities, both internal and external, in line with the agreed policies, procedures and service level agreements.
- Escalate all high-risk, complex and/or significant issues to the line manager.
Key Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Risk Management.
- 3-4 years in Compliance - Group Anti Financial Crime.
- Experience in the analysis of money laundering and terrorist financing indicators and trends.
- Promote Good Governance, Risk & Control.
- Experience in bank processes, products and systems.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or audit (i.e. able to conduct qualitative assessment of peer / subordinate work).
